Publishing one book is a big deal. Publishing MULTIPLE books is a game-changer.
As you continue to publish more books, you will most likely start to see your income improve every month. I saw a reliable rise income in my bank account after I had four published titles. Two of my titles were on Kindle Select and two titles were "wide", which means they were available across multiple book sales platforms (Barnes N' Noble, KOBO, Apple, etc.)
An important factor you need to take into consideration for publishing multiple books includes your genre. There is a big difference between fiction and non-fiction titles, for example.
I hope this video helps with your expectations, long-term planning, and staying motivated to keep writing more content.
Save yourself from unnecessary stress or setbacks by listening to the tips I have for you in this podcast!
I have learned many things the hard way, and sometimes on the longer path, so I hope this show gives you valuable information you can use for your author career and entrepreneurial spirit.
I cover 7 areas in this episode, including:
- Expectations
- Time commitments
- Investing money
- Figuring it out all by yourself
- Remaining flexible
- The importance of experimentation
The mental game of writing can be easier when you are focused and in flow - but we experience those periods of trying to force it, too.
I have guidance to offer you that has worked for me after completing 12 books. Hopefully it assists in changing around how you approach the pressure of "forced writing" so you can transition to "focused writing" that has flow.

Allow other people's success to inspire you to see what is possible these days. Just because it happened to them does not mean it won't happen to you.
We have more ways to succeed these days than ever before in human history - that's pretty incredible, right?
The Comparison Game can take you down the wrong tracks if you're not aware of what's going on. Need help moving through that?
More about this very topic on this week's podcast, Why Is Everyone Else Doing Better Than Me?
Validation may be an obvious need at times, but why would you be vulnerable in your business? Because times are changing, people have different expectations (often unconscious), and there are key reasons for allowing people to see - and feel - the real you.
We'll discuss how validation and vulnerability are linked together and can be unconscious drivers of what you're doing. You can be vulnerable in the wrong ways, unfortunately, so listen as I guide you with easy tips for harnessing your heart in your professional endeavors.
The results can be extraordinary and you'll feel new levels of motivation for your work in the world.
What type of content creator are you?
We are all surrounded by way too much information these days, for better or for worse, and we can lose track of where "ideas" come from. Did it come from you or someone else? Was it an idea you saw 'out there' or did you get inspiration from it within?
The answer is probably somewhere in the middle.
But to stay 'above board', ensure you are creating content from your own experience and not simply duplicating what someone else has already done.
We need more genuine voices contributing to the ongoing conversations. People pick up on what is true and real, and will eventually see through false copies or empty words.
Ultimately, we need your unique insights to help move collective knowledge forward. When we each contribute what we've learned, we all continue to grow exponentially.
